Meet the family
Jonathan
With an affinity for numbers and a fascination with knowing how things work, Jonathan attended the University of Utah and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. He also took concurrent ROTC classes to fulfill a dream of becoming a military pilot. Jonathan was immensely blessed to serve our great nation as an active-duty officer and pilot in the United States Air Force. Following his military career, Jonathan continued to pursue a civilian flying career by working for an airline. After seeing how unstable things were for a junior airline pilot and noticing the negative effect it had on his family, he made a transition into entrepreneurship. His skills in numbers, attention to detail, and countless other tangible characteristics gleaned from his life experience, helped lead to the creation of Bell Digital Bookkeeping, LLC. Now he and his wife Jennifer have a passion for helping other small businesses succeed by keeping their finances organized and clean.
Jennifer
Jennifer began her pursuits in retail and customer service. She gained an understanding of business and sound financial principles after serving as a product manager for a retail chain. Shortly after marrying Jonathan and becoming pregnant with their first child, she set aside her career aspirations and focused on being a mom. The challenge of raising five children, Jonathan’s multiple overseas military tours, and creating a new home every 2-3 years, has kept her on her toes! In fact, Bell Digital Bookkeeping (BeeDeeBee as we affectionately call it) was mostly her brainchild. She saw a stark difference in the home when Jonathan was overseas during his military career and routinely absent as an airline pilot. She would often say, “Our kids need their Daddy to be home.” Jennifer hopes to be able to provide valuable bookkeeping services to small businesses who would rather focus their extra time on their loved ones, rather than policing the books.

Jonathan and Jennifer are both well-versed with QuickBooks® Online, a powerful cloud-based accounting platform that allows you to connect to your financial data anywhere you have an internet connection. Don’t sweat the software! We’ll help you learn the basics and we’ll make ourselves available if you have questions.
Microsoft Excel is a user friendly, number crunching program, which most people are familiar with. It can be a useful tool for your personal and business finances, but can be intimidating to those who are unaware of its capabilities. We can help you learn how to use it to record and communicate your business transactions so you always have multiple records supporting your financial data, which is a good thing!
